After reading the article. I choose the word ''ancient''. I think this word means something that is very old got a very long history. In the article it said the building was built around the middle of the fifteen century. So i think this word means something got a long history. I think this word is important to learn because it's difficult.
If i choose i place in Honk Kong to be the ninth wonder in the world, i will choose the IFC building in central. Although is hasn't got any history, but i think it is very stately when i was at the bottom of the IFC building i really think that it is very stately. Therefore i choose the IFC building to be the ninth wonder of the world.

I'm glad you like the word "stately"; that, in fact should be your significant word, if you can find it in the passage!
the IFC is a great suggestion; however, sth is rubbish; do you think using sth impresses me or makes me think you can't spell something? I certainly feel something(@_@).
